By adding white color gamut via Quantum dot films in Premium UHD line MU9000 series has built the QLED series from Samsung. It has amazing contrast and black level which will seize the intended increased color of HDR content and will also capture brightness. What is QLED? Differences with OLED
On the OLED lettering this new quantum dot technology from Samsung make a play. OLED and QLED sound similar but without OLED technology but are very different in term of technology.

Local Dimming (Precision Black) Performance
In the Q7 series Samsung term for dimming feature is Precision Black. Regarding contrast, color and detailed level local dimming can offer some very increase precision which are needed for each part to excellent overall image and screen to coordinate. Since because of dimming mechanism (LED lights) it is the edge of Q7, it is not true to call it local dimming- it is a term which help in describing a TVs ability to darken, soften or brighten specific areas on your TVs screen of where ever you want.
In various areas of picture this feature will effectively increase contrast. At time it darkens the screen a lot in Q7. For good local dimming the edge lit LED backlight is a big hindrance. I think for me lit dimming was never a good feature I feel full array, full boat and micro dimming are much better which also has a major impact on contrast. There is not much improvement in picture because it marginally impacts on contrast in it so there is a manipulation of the edge lighting as in the Q7.
HDR Compatible
Again HDR is big focus TV feature for 2017/2018. HDR has ability to extent the range that a pixel in an LCD TV can show easily. Rather than deeper blacks contrast is enhanced by increased brightness. Not only HDR just increase the brightness of picture but its real purpose is to increase contrast in various image areas of the picture which result in improvement of brighter parts in picture and in surrounding darker parts of the picture it creates more contrast. In improving perceived depth picture contrast in one of the primary feature. Even though HDR may not increase the overall contrast of the panel a lot but it is considered a major picture quality improvement. If an image is of good HDR so it will show more better shadow detail you will mostly notice those scenes which are light illuminating images, especially because of when the outside sunlight effects screen, and if there is a room in which sunlight is coming more from a window than you will notice. The picture improvement also varies a lot with HDR when content is being viewed.
Side Angle Viewing
Associated with LED backlit from off center the Q7 has many problems and also LCD TVs even after putting a lot of improvement has a lot of problems. Luster loses by beautiful picture presentation of Q7’s panel.
Digital Clean View Feature/Upscaling HD and Standard Def Content

Motion Rate 240/ Fast Motion/Gaming
For 120 Hz panel the figure represents an enhanced Hz rate. Samsung is able to produces an effectively faster refresh rate by manipulating the powerful LEDs. When the TV is in game mode the input lag works excellently at around 20ms. With fast motion image Q7 does a great job. For gamers it doesn’t have any image retention issue and it is also good for sports and gaming.
Picture Calibration and Settings
The Samsung Q7 presents in 5 preset picture modes which are Movie, Natural, Vivid, and Standard and after that the different Game mode. Clearly, Game mode is the only decision to the input lag.
Quick Picture Calibration Settings
Quick Calibration provides the setting for the lighting of medium to dark room. However the calibrations vary from the variety of TVs, even from the similar model number. Sound Quality
Audio output is total 40 watts, 10w for each subs and 10w from each speaker. For a very big room you might fight 65” model lacking and subs do push away the minuteness in it and give more full sound. With a good looking TV you hate to have a bulky sound bar so it is necessary to build a nice speaker system. Its sound quality is quite average.
